The GOV.UK One Login system often fails if you have a “thin” credit file, have moved house recently, or if your name on the electoral roll doesn’t perfectly match your ID (e.g., missing middle names). It also requires a biometric passport for the app route, which many older or non-UK documents lack.
You will need a valid government-issued photo ID. We accept most documents listed on the Public Register of Authentic Travel and Identity Documents Online (PRADO).
